Super moist gluten free chocolate cake:

This cake was amazing – light, moist and full of flavour.
The actual recipe asked for almond flour but I just ground up the almonds in the electric mixer. I actually made the whole cake in the mixer.

Moist gluten free choc cake


  • ½ cup coconut flour 
  • ¼ cup almond flour
  • 2 teaspoons grain free baking powder
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 can coconut cream
  • 4 tbs water
  • ½ cup honey
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract 
  1. Added almonds to electric mixer blend till the nuts look like a fine powder (or you could just buy almond flour)
  2. Add all the dry ingredients to the mixer and mix for a few seconds
  3. Add all the other ingredients and blend till mixed through.  No not over beat.  Mixture should look like a thick chocolate mouse texture
  4. Pour into a lined baking tin and cook in a heated oven (180 degrees) for 50 mins
  5. Let cake cool for 10 mins before serving
