Made my oldest daughter a raw Carmel chocolate cake for her 17th birthday. So yummy.
I combined a few recipes as I was running low on a few ingredients. Construct the 3 layers as you make them. Pop in freezer and pull out when needed.
Base layer: mix nuts and seeds first in blender to a crumbly texture. Add rest of ingredients and blend well.
1 cup almonds + 1/2 cashews + 1/4 cup flax seeds
1/2 cup medjool dates…
1 tsp. vanilla extract or 1/2 tsp. vanilla + small pinch of salt
Caramel middle layer: mix well in blender
1/4 cup coconut oil, melted.
1/2 cup cashews
1/2 cup pure maple syrup
1/2 cup tahini
1/4 tsp. himalayan salt
Chocolate top layer: mix throughly
Melted block of Lindt 90% chocolate ( or any other)
2-3 heaped spoons coconut oil
3 tbsp. maple syrup
