Knaekbrod. Danish cracker bread.

This is a gem of a recipe shared by Wendy on our Facebook site. I know heaps have already tried this recipe.

Knaebrod crackers

Comments by Wendy ‘So easy. Next time I’ll try it with coconut or almond flour. I didn’t have pepitas so used shaved almonds. You could substitute anything you like. Almost quicker than opening a box of crackers’

1/2 cup each of flax seeds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, pepitas and oats. 1 1/2 cups of plain flour. About a cup of Water with some coconut oil melted into it (3 tablespoonish). Just mix until you have a nice unsticky dough.
Divide into 4 parts
Roll between 2 pieces of baking paper
Use a pizza cutter to cut squares
Bake for about 20 mins @ 200.
Serve with dip and cheese
